Gardaí in Longford have arrested a man in his 20s after a public order incident in the town over the weekend. Gardaí attended a service station on the Dublin Road in the town at 12.45 early on Sunday morning. Video footage shows a fight involving two men and two women take place across the forecourt and into the shop itself.
A member of staff can be seen trying to stop the dispute, with the incident continuing for several minutes. Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s in the aftermath of the fight. He has since been charged and will appear at Longford District Court in the coming weeks.
