Gardaí appeal for witness following death of 13-year-old girl in Cork

Gardaí are appealing for camera footage after a 13 year old girl died in a crash at a motor racing event in County Cork.
It happened in the village of Enniskean, about 10 kilometres from Bandon, at around 3.30 yesterday afternoon.
The teenager was participating in an official event, when her buggy crashed during her heat.

Paramedics attended the scene but the youngster was pronounced dead and her body taken to Cork University Hospital.
The office of the Coroner in Cork has been contacted in relation to the tragedy.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, and camera footage from the event - where racing was suspended immediately after the crash.
