There are plans for further public meetings to discuss planned works in Ballymahon.
It follows a meeting at Cooney's Hotel which was attended by over 50 people.
It was organised by the Ballymahon Community Information Partnership.
The group says it aims to provide a platform for people living in Ballymahon to share their views on local projects.
Local residents and retailers voiced their concerns about planned streetscape works in the town.
Organiser Niall Dowler says the meetings are open to everyone in Ballymahon.
