The funeral of local woman Geraldine Gannon has heard how she was a champion of simple values.
Ms Gannon who was aged in her 80's, died in a road crash on the N5 at Scramoge on Tuesday evening.
Her funeral mass took place earlier today in Strokestown Parish Church.

Gifts brought to the altar to symbolise her loves in life included a prayer book, a flowering plant and a book on Sliabh Bán.
During his homily, Parish Priest in Strokestown Fr Eamon O'Connor said Geraldine was an active person in the community over the years:
