The funeral of former Roscommon footballer Martin Fallon is taking place this morning. The community activist and paramedic, who lived in Carniska, Strokestown, passed away suddenly on Friday.
Martin represented Roscommon GAA at Minor, U-21 and Senior levels which included winning a Connacht Senior Football Title in 1991. His funeral mass is taking place in Strokestown Parish Church with burial afterwards in Strokestown Cemetery.
