The former Mayor of Athlone will be laid to rest later today.
Egbert Moran passed away on Thursday, October 30th.
A former Fianna Fáil councillor, the late Mr Moran served on Westmeath County Council for over a decade.

His funeral mass will take place on Monday in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
