The young father-of-five who died in a road traffic collision in Longford last weekend will be laid to rest on Thursday. 36-year-old Francis Kelly from Granard died following a three-vehicle crash on the N4 at Edgeworthstown on Saturday evening. Mr Kelly will be laid to rest in Granardkill Cemetery following funeral mass at St Mary's Church, Granard on Thursday morning.
Another man, also in his 30s, was hospitalised following the collision with non life-threatening injuries. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
