A series of fundraisers will take place in south Roscommon this month in aid of a popular Missionary priest.
Fr Pat Brennan has been working in the Amazon region of Brazil for the past 47 years.
The Lecarrow native is a regular visitor to his family home and the people of the parish are firm supporters.
The Chairperson of the Fr Pat Brennan Missionary Fund says the money goes towards his work with some of the poorest people in Brazil.
