Sligo Rovers Football Club's stadium development is to benefit from Immigrant Investor Programme.
The scheme, which closed to new applications in 2023, allowed wealthy individuals to seek Irish residency through donations to certain projects.
The club is to receive 6 million euro on to complete a game-changing project.

The plans, will see the club's home ground, The Showgrounds transformed into UEFA Category C venue with over 6,000 seats.
A number of people from across the Shannonside region attend matches at the venue on a regular basis.
