€115,000 worth of funding has been announced for the refurbishment of the Girl Guides Den in Castlerea. The funding has been allocated by the Department of Culture and is match funded by Roscommon County Council.
The building based in Somers Park, is set to be transformed into an arts space for the community. Local Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice has welcomed the funding announcement:
