Farmers, hauliers and contractors protesting the rising cost of fuel are not doing so lightly. That's according to a local TD who says protestors have been left with little option but to blockade Dublin today. Independent Ireland's Michael Fitzmaurice was speaking during a second day of protests nationwide. It comes as the Justice Minister met with Gardai to discuss the ongoing blockades of of ports and fuel depots. Deputy Fitzmaurice has laid the blame for the protests firmly at the Government's door:
