'FTD Brothers' to complete marathon in Co. Leitrim today

They're running over 26 miles in the Carrick-on-Shannon area.

Two brothers, who are at risk of dementia, will complete a marathon in Co Leitrim today - as their major fundraising drive continues.
They're running over 26 miles in the Carrick-on-Shannon area.
Jordan and Cian Adams grew up in Redditch, Worcestershire, in England, but have family roots in the Shannonside region.
Their mother, Geraldine, died from frontotemporal dementia in 2016, aged just 52.
30-year-old Jordon and 25-year-old Cian have inherited a gene that means they're almost certain to develop the condition also.

Jordon got international attention when he ran the London Marathon recently, with a 25 kilogramme fridge on his back.
He and Cian then started a challenge that sees them running 32 marathons in Ireland in 32 days.
They're honouring their mother and have raised around 1.3 million euro for the FTD Brothers Foundation and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Today is their 14th marathon in Ireland, taking place in Co Leitrim.
They'll leave Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon at 10 o'clock this morning to set off on a 26.2-mile run around the area, including Drumsna and Jamestown.
They're expected to arrive back at Pairc Seán between 2pm and 4pm.
Maeve Reynolds is a local councillor:
