Fresh weather warning issued for Leitrim following Storm Bert

A status yellow wind warning is in place for Co. Leitrim.

The weather alert was also issued for counties Mayo, Sligo, Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Galway.

The warning took effect at 8 o'clock this morning, and will last until 2 a.m.

The country has been battered by Storm Bert over the last few days.

Damage to farms homes and businesses have yet to be accessed with 6 thousand of them left without power.
