There are hopes Boyle will be one of the locations to receive a new state-led childcare facility.
Children's Minister Norma Foley says her department will buy properties to house state-led childcare facilities this year, but the building of such will start in 2027.
A meeting in Boyle last year heard 77 per cent of children aged under four are currently unable to access childcare services.
