Longford residents are being urged to dispose of household hazardous waste as part of an inititiave this weekend.
A free collection day is taking place at Pearse Park from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock this Saturday.
It's being hosted by Regional Waste Management Planning Offices and Longford County Council.

Items such as household chemicals, personal care products, garden chemicals, paints and automotive products will be accepted.
Martin O'Gorman of the Regional Waste Management Planning Offices says improper disposal can damage health and the environment.
The collection will take place from 10 o'clock on Saturday morning and will run until 2 o'clock.
