Late last year, the High Court ordered it appropriate to quash the ministerial statutory instrument that provided the legal basis for the accommodation centre.

Late last year, the High Court ordered it appropriate to quash the ministerial statutory instrument that provided the legal basis for the accommodation centre.
Per the court's directions, the site is now an unauthorised development.

Councillors Frankie Keena, Paul Hogan, Aengus O'Rourke and John Dolan will put forward a motion at this month's county council meeting to remove all structures from the location.
They're calling for the lands to be restored to their 'original greenfield condition.'
