Former Roscommon Cathaoirleach passes away at the age of 99

His funeral Mass is taking place in St Paul's Church, Kilmurray, on Friday at 11 o'clock.

Former Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, Tom Callaghan, has died at the age of 99. He died yesterday in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe and lived in Rathmoyle, Castlerea.

His funeral Mass is taking place in St Paul's Church, Kilmurray, on Friday at 11 o'clock. His Fine Gael colleague Senator Gareth Scahill is paying tribute:
