The funeral is taking place today of former Leitrim GAA chairman Gerry McGovern.
Glowing tributes have been paid to the Cloone man since he died earlier this week.
Gerry McGovern had an extensive career in GAA in many areas.
He was firstly a player, then a referee, followed by an officer across areas in Co Leitrim.
He also served as chairman of Leitrim GAA and president of Connacht GAA.
He died on Wednesday in Sligo University Hospital after a short illness.
He's survived by his wife, Kathleen, sons Ciaran and Gavin and his daughter, Jacinta.
Leitrim GAA says he was one of a kind, a trojan worker, a great raconteur and excellent company.
His funeral Mass is taking place in St Mary's Church, Cloone, at 12 noon today, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
