Foreign Direct Investment in Longford is supporting close to 1,800 jobs locally.
Figures presented to the May Meeting of Longford County Council show that IDA clients currently support 1,787 jobs in the county.
Companies such as Abbott, Tecnimark and Centre Parks are also said to be indirectly supporting a further 1,430.
