Five people due in court after criminal damage incident in Longford last month

Five people are due before a special sitting of Longford District Court shortly charged in connection with criminal damage which occurred in Longford Town last month.

A man in his early 50s, a woman in her late 40s, two men in their early 20s and another in his late teens were arrested this morning by Gardaí in Longford.

All five have been charged in connection with criminal damage, and three have been separately charged in connection with an assault which occurred in Longford also last month

The five individuals will appear before a special sitting of Longford District Court this afternoon.
