Five official Darkness Into Light walks will place in the Shannonside region in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Hundreds of people will line the streets of local towns, to raise funds for a suicide and self-harm prevention charity.
In 2009, in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, 400 people set off for the first Darkness Into Light walk, to raise funds for Pieta.
From small beginnings, the movement has continued to grow - there are now over 800,000 participants every year.
The event has raised over 40 million euro.
There are over 150 official walks across Ireland this year, starting at 4.15 tomorrow morning.
There are four in Co Roscommon - in Boyle, Castlerea, Roscommon town and Strokestown - and one in Longford town.
There's no official walk in Co Leitrim.
If you're from just outside the Shannonside region, there are events in Ballinasloe and Glenamaddy.
