Fire services brought a wild fire near Castlerea under control yesterday evening, in one of the first such blazes this year.
It broke out very close to forestry in Trien at around 5pm.
Ballaghaderreen and Ballyhaunis fire services attended the scene - as Castlerea fire station closed several years ago.

Local man Danny Burke is calling for it to be reopened.
