Fianna Fáil has started the process for selecting candidates for the general election in the Longford-Westmeath constituency.
The deadline for securing a nomination is next Monday and two selection conventions, one for Longford and one for Westmeath, will be held later this month.
The party has two TDs in the area - Joe Flaherty in Longford town and Robert Troy in Ballynacargy.

Flaherty has confirmed he's looking to retain his seat - and Troy says he is also looking to extend his Dáil term.
