Party TDs have suggested the Taoiseach step aside as party leader next year

A Fianna Fail TD says Micheal Martin should step aside as party leader when his term as Taoiseach ends in 2022.

The party's disastrous result in a recent by-election has led to renewed rumblings over his leadership.

Fianna Fail Ministers are urging members to support the Taoiseach, amid suggestions a no-confidence motion could be tabled.
