The Bishop of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise has urged people to welcome the Lord into their lives this Christmas.
Bishop Paul Connell said the message of Christmas marked the coming of the light through the birth of Jesus. He said that while we may feel surrounded by darkness at times, the festive season was a beacon of hope.
