Fears the proposed Aldi store in Boyle will not go ahead have been allayed.
Earlier today, it emerged that agents acting on behalf of Aldi Ireland asked for a three-month extension to respond to a Further Information request from Roscommon County Council.
The request, first issued on April 22 of this year, relates to detailed updates and substantial additional material Aldi must provide.
However, Roscommon County Council have now confirmed they have granted the extension.
