They start circling the town around 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights - and continue until around 4am.

There are fears someone will be seriously injured or killed due to 'boy-racing' in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Local community activist Phil Faughnan says the problem has become much worse recently.

She says they start circling the town around 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights - and continue until around 4am.
