Family Carers say supports are available for those affected by early onset dementia

Supports are available for those who have been diagnosed with early onset dementia.

That's the message from Family Carers Ireland to those faced with the devastating condition. It comes as

HSE figures show 54 people under the age of 50 are living with the condition in this region.

There are 25 people in Roscommon, 17 in Longford, and 12 in Leitrim.
