A Roscommon councillor is welcoming the decision to proceed with an extension to Kilbegley Graveyard that will see 188 new grave plots made available.
Councillor John Naughten says the long-awaited extension to Kilbegley graveyard will service the Moore and Creagh areas of South Roscommon.
The Fine Gael councillor says both Roscommon County Council and the graveyard committee have bene involved in securing the extension and the landowner involved is also to be thanked.

The extension will also include construction of a new boundary wall and footpath access.
