EU gives green light for Ukranian refugees to take up residency

This comes as Russia declares a ceasefire in two areas of Ukraine to allow civilians to evacuate.

The EU has given the green light for refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine to take up residency rights across the EU.

The move comes as the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed missiles which struck Europe's largest Nuclear facility came from Moscow.

The team's head confirms there has been no radiation leak.

European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen has triggered the temporary protection directive' for refugees which will last for at least one year.
