A key vote to confirm a deal on new safeguards with Mercosur countries has been delayed yet again.
That's after a meeting of EU ambassadors scheduled for Monday afternoon was scheduled.
It's understood that it was a final attempt to settle Mercosur discussions, including rubber-stamping a safeguard designed to protect EU farmers from imports from south America.
A mass protest took place in Brussels last week as farmers attempted to stop the proposed agreement.
If passed, it'll allow lower quality beef into the European market from South America.
