Longford now has the fifth-highest 14-day incidence rate of Covid 19.

Eleven new cases of the virus were confirmed last night - which follows sixteen cases reported on Friday evening.

The county's incidence rate is now at 144.3 - well above the national average of 84.1.

Fifty-nine cases of Covid have been reported in Longford in the last fortnight - twenty-nine in Roscommon and just eight in Leitrim.
