Leitrim County Council storm repayment raised in the Dáil
Storm Éowyn caused destruction and power outages across the Shannonside region.

Some people in Leitrim were left without power for almost three weeks following the storm in January.

A local TD says Leitrim County Council are still awaiting payment from the Department of Housing for damaged cause during Storm Éowyn. Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan raised the issue in the Dáil this week with Taoiseach Micheál Martin. Some people in Leitrim were left without power for almost three weeks following the storm in January. Deputy Feighan says local authorities in the North-West shouldn't be left short changed:
