The Education Minister is visiting a number of schools in Co. Roscommon today.
Hildegarde Naughton is currently in Castlerea and will also visit Roscommon Town and Curraghboy.
The Minister is visiting Castlerea Community School where she will officially open special classes as part of a ribbon cutting ceremony.
She will also see the newly refurbished science labs at the school.
Minister Naughton is then due to visit CBS Roscommon where she will see first-hand the work of the school community during a tour of the school.
Her final engagement of the day is at Carrick National School, Curraghboy where a new special classroom will be officially opened.
She will also visit the SMART polytunnel at the school which has been created to support pupils in their understanding and knowledge of STEM and sustainability related projects.
