A Glenamaddy woman is among six Community Heroes from across Ireland who've been awarded funds to help them grow food.
The Get Ireland Growing project , sponsored by Energia, began in April with 800 communities being given community GROWBoxes across the country containing seed and information packs.
The Connacht Community Hero is Helen Murphy of Glenamaddy Community Garden.

The community there has established a food-growing plot where diversity is also a focus point.
Members of the community garden in Glenamaddy range in age from 88 to pre-school age and new arrivals from Ukraine are also involved.
