A total of the €90 million has been allocated for the completion of the upgrade of the N5, between Ballaghaderreen and Scramogue.
The money has been assigned by Transport Infrastructure Ireland today.
The cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, Liam Callaghan, says the project is well advanced:

A total of €300,000 has also been allocated to the upgrade of the Clashaganny to Tulsk road.
