900,000 euro has been announced for rural roads and laneways in the Shannonside region.
The Department of Rural Development has allocated 528,000 for Leitrim and 371,000 for Longford - but nothing for Roscommon.
These are extra allocations for this year, under the Local Improvement Scheme.
