€20m has been announced for the new 90-bed nursing home in Carrick-on-Shannon. The announcement is part of the 2026 HSE Capital Plan. Construction on the project started in Carrick last year.
€16m has also been announced for a new 42 bed block at Sligo University Hospital. Local Minister Frank Feighan has welcomed today's announcement:
Over €14m has been announced for the replacement of the Community Nursing Unit at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Roscommon.

€14m has also been announced for a new 43 bed community nursing home in Longford Town.
It's set to be constructed at the St. Joseph's Care Centre.
