The National Lottery say the ticket was sold at the Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road.

An Athlone Service Station has been revealed as the selling location of Wednesday's winning Lotto ticket worth €1 million. The National Lottery say the ticket was sold at the Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road.

The winning player became the 6th National Lottery millionaire of 2026 after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw to scoop the top prize in Wednesday's Lotto Plus 1 draw. People are now being encouraged to check their tickets with the winner asked to make contact with the Prize Claims team.
