Over €1 million in funding has been allocated to Shannonside councils to upgrade social housing stock.
It will be used to help older people, those with disabilities, and those living in overcrowding, to carry out changes to their homes.
Leitrim council is getting €193,000, with €444,000 going to Roscommon and €390,000 to Longford.
