A drug and alcohol awareness week is taking place this week in the region.
The 2023 Regional Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week is being held in Roscommon starting on November 13th up to the 18th. Throughout the week, a blend of online and in-person events are to take place. The activities will give people an opportunity to learn more about the effects of alcohol and drugs on mental health, ways to help loved ones who are subject to the influence of toxic substances, as well as talks about vaping. The week's events are being organised by the Western Region Drugs and Alcohol Task Force.
Booking is required, and all are welcome.
