Roscommon Roads Policing unit conducted 2 traffic stops on dangerous drivers recently.
One of the incidents happened in Ballaghadereen where a van was caught speeding in wet conditions.
The driver attempted to leave the scene after being stopped by Gardaí. They were caught and then failed a roadside breath test, and were arrested. The second incident involved a dangerous overtake. When the vehicle was stopped by gardai the driver was found to have no tax or NCT on their car.

Their vehicle was seized and they will appear in court at a later date
