A local councillor says he has plans to develop a drive-thru restaurant and retail units in Tarmonbarry.
Cllr Tom Crosby says the development would benefit both local residents and families travelling on the N5.
It comes following news that the Ballaghaderreen to Scramogue bypass project is ahead of the schedule.

Mayo-based Wills Brothers Ltd plans to complete the €460 million project in 2027.
The 34-kilometre stretch of road will bypass Frenchpark, Ballinagare, Tulsk and Strokestown.
