The number of domestic abuse incidents in the Shannonside region doubled in the space of six years.
There were 1.033 in Roscommon, Longford and Mayo in 2018 - rising to 2,161 in 2024.
They rose from 391 to 818 in Leitrim and Sligo in the same period.
