Local train passengers are being advised to expect disruptions this weekend due to major engineering works.
Services serving Athlone and Ballinasloe on Saturday will transfer by bus from Dublin Heuston to Kildare before continuing by train.
Works will also impact the Sligo line, where services between Longford and Dromod will involve bus transfers on Saturday evening.

Irish Rail says the works are essential to improve track infrastructure and has apologised for any inconvenience.
