A €12 million in a major green energy upgrade in Ballaghaderreen has been welcomed locally.
Aurivo plans to install a a first-of-its-kind wood pellet burner and boiler system at its facility in the west Roscommon town.
Once operational, it is expected to cut carbon emissions by around 7,500 tonnes annually.
