DEBATE: Sparks fly as councillors debate Ballagh public realm plan
Councillor Micheál Frain and Tom Crosby take different views on the plan

Independent councillors Micheal Frain, from Ballaghaderreen, and Tom Crosby, from Tarmonbarry, have different views on the plan, which would see 47 car-parking spaces removed from the town.

Roscommon County Council says it’s strongly against reversing the controversial public realm enhancement plan in Ballaghaderreen, which will see €4.5 million spent on upgrading the town.

Independent councillors Micheal Frain, from Ballaghaderreen, and Tom Crosby, from Tarmonbarry, have different views on the plan, which would see 47 car-parking spaces removed from the town. On Let's Talk today, they debated the issue - with Frain setting out his stall first:
