The Dáil has heard a school in Ballinasloe has been waiting almost three decades for a new campus. Sinn Fein's Claire Kerrane says two schools amalgamated to form Scoil an Chroi Naofa in 1996 - on condition they'd get a new school building.
She says it has 300 children, with three classes for kids with special needs. Deputy Kerrane says there's a big need for a new campus because of safety issues:
