The Dáil has heard about the need for a 24-7 rapid response vehicle in Co Roscommon.
Currently, it is not available to the public on Mondays from 8pm to 8am because the overtime which used to keep it in function is no longer being paid.
Furthermore, the vehicle is not being operated by an advanced paramedic, who has the skill to provide 23 more medications than a regular paramedic.
