There are currently no plans to introduce paid parking in Roscommon Town. That's according to Roscommon County Council Chief Executive Shane Tiernan.
Paid parking is in operation in local towns such as Carrick on Shannon and Longford however it has not been introduced in Roscommon. Tiernan says no discussions have taken place so far:
